- On KDE if you are unable to start Beryl be sure to check Desktop>Behavior>Show icons on desktop and restart KDE. Otherwise Beryl fails to start even if no KWin is running.
- If you cannot see your password entry window after locking desktop – be sure to uncheck Beryl settings>General>Advanced>Unredirect Fullscreen Windows checkbox.
